My comics source is holding out on me!!! So back to spinning on the bus. I pulled out some merino/silk I had blended in a color blending workshop. As usual -it's not enough to do anything with. (Why is everything I do an exercise in futility?) I do like the colorway I created - not sure how muddy it will be when plied. I'm calling it "tavaszi" (vernal, in Hungarian ... "Spring-y" for those of you thinking WTF is "vernal") It sort of reminds me of blossoming cherry trees; it's got soft pink, light green, brown, and white in it. I'm doing that fine spinning again - like the alpaca from last month. I still haven't blocked that scarf, so I s'pose I could frog it and add the merino/silk in some sort of artful design...

Well, I've got my exchange skeins sent out (Monday) and I'm back in my slump. No spinning for me, my commutes are occupied with the 6 boxes of Marvel & DC comics from the basement of my job. Cool beans! Definitely better than the stuff I've been getting from the library.
